Amazing is the first kick I feel

When you make your presence known

When you knock upon the door of my womb

And tell me who you are

More amazing is the first kick I feel

As you fight for each moment of your life

You announce yourself

While you make your presence known

By arriving head first

Into a brightly lit room

Full of strangers

Waiting to know your name

This my little one is what we call

“The Gift Of Life”

May you cherish each moment
