What If©

What if

The sky

Was no longer blue

And the sun no longer shined

Would you still think the sky was delightful?

Would you still be captivated by the moonlit sky?

What if the grass was no longer on greener?

And the trees never flowered?

Would you? Could you be happy with what you see?

Between you and me, you knew this was coming

I tried to warn you

If you scorn Mother Nature, she will gift you with her wrath

If you don’t take care of Mother Earth

She too will turn her back on you

And then, where would you go?

What if

You find yourself truly homeless?

With nowhere to turn?

This is one question, I’m hoping I’ll never

Have to hear the answer to.
