Our Young Teens
Are trusting
Unknowing
They deny our love
They need our love
They want our love
They want to share their love
They are ambitious
Caring while uncaring
Sometimes deceitful
Most often regretful
Sometimes generous
Other times over entitled
Sometimes lazy
Often energetic
Sometimes unnerving, scary, and scared
On occasion they can be nerve racking
They will forever be testing us
But no matter what
They will always be our family
