Dear Darkness©

Why must you bring me to my knees

Make me tremble at your sight

Cause me to fear myself

Make my mind spiral out of control

Give me the will to cause destruction and mayhem

You are my undoing

You will be the death of me and those I love

I must find a way to obliterate you

For my worldly possessions aren’t worth risking

For the likeness of you

So heed this warning my dark tormentor

You are on notice

I’m here to end you before you can taketh me

In the morning I shall wake

Hence you shall be no more

Farewell Darkness

Never shall we meet again
