The corners of my room have such a haunting darkness

There are vibes of sadness leaking through the walls

My nights are sleepless for

I hear cries in the night from the souls lost here through the years

Shadows follow me down each hall

I never feel alone

I often find myself wishing that I was in fact alone

At least without those voices I hear through my walls

My own sadness is enough to bear

Echoes of sadness won’t you please disappear

And leave me in peace with my own
