I feel alive

I make the choices about what happens and when it happens

I’m free to do whatever I want with whomever I want

I can stay there in the morning

I can stay there in the night

I can stay there when it’s just right

I can sit there,

I can sleep there

I can think there

I can dream there

Sometimes I write poetry

Sometimes I write stories

Sometimes I’m just tired of going nowhere

Nowhere with my thoughts, nor with my direction

Sometimes what I need is a good old push

Then there is no one, no one to forgive me

But I know that when In my room

I can do anything

I’m in control

I can speak my mind

And I’m free

Free from all that ails me
