A river of sadness

Where it originates we may never know

We only try to seal its tears so that the river doesn’t grow

How do you heal a river of tears is beyond us all

There seems to be more reasons today to shed a tear

No matter how hard we work to overcome all that comes our way

We always seem to fail in some way

Fear not my friends for the words that have been heard are

That to shed a tear is healthy in a healing way

So we may say there should be no attempts to slow or stop this river of tears
