Everywhere I go
Everyone’s in pairs
There’s nothing worse
Than being a third wheel
The intimate jokes
That you’re not a part of
The moment you realize
That privacy is needed
And it’s not meant for you
The awkward table for two
Is quickly made up for three
The conversation has suddenly
Changed to finding you a date
No one wants to see you lonely and alone
So now all the attention is suddenly on the
Third wheel
I’m certain the next time you see me
I’ll most likely be paired
And no longer a third wheel
I don’t know why it’s such a big deal
