You saved me without hesitation

Even when your life was in danger

You didn’t care that he was carrying a gun

You didn’t care that you didn’t even know me

You stopped and took the time of day to shield me

From the ray of bullets sent my way
Heaven must have sent angels your way

Anyone else would have been dead by the end of the day

Instead here you stand holding my hand as I prepare for surgery

Thanks to you I have my tomorrows ahead of me

And a second chance at life

Thank you for being my savior
