When I lay my head upon my pillow I quickly start to doze
I realize that the day has drained away my strength
I’ve given in to the Sandman who’s already taken me away
To a room full of sleepy heads holding on to smiles with their eyes closed
A small fairy flies about the room shaking her wand over each head
The smiles all turn to giggles and their eyes are still firmly closed
I’ve just come to realize that we’re all in a dream land
What a welcome comfort and change from the haunts of today’s world
