Awake for hours I sit listening to the calm of the house. 

What a nice sound it is. 

I realized however that when the calm is not there, I don’t miss it as much as I thought I would. 

What would we do without the chaos that comes with each day? 

What would we really have to do with ourselves? 

How would we enjoy ourselves? 

We really need the chaos, it’s what we live for, it’s what complete us. 

We must be grateful each day for the small things: including the noise of the house, the kids running about, having little to no time to sit and put your feet up. 

Just think of how sad we would be if things were different.
