I bop my head left to right

Forward and backward

I shake my butt

To Marvin Gaye’s “You’ve Gotta Give It Up”

My hair shakes lose and I kick off my shoes

My kids raid my room and are now jumping on my bed

The bed taps its feet to the music

Denting the wooden floor

But there are no cares here

As I wind down from the day

And we all just hang and say

Hey, hope you had a nice day
