In a corner I place the things I hold dear
I often find comfort sitting there in my favorite chair
Reading books that bring me comfort
I place upon the wall pictures honoring memories of those I hold dear
An opposite corner holds a case of collectibles from near and far
Some old and some new
Each item tells a story about someone who has lived between these walls
Every corner has its purpose
As do the corners of our minds
They too hold our memories
Both the good and the bad
Without corners there would be
No order
No shape
No rhyme
Nor reason
Corners hold everything together
Just as they should be
