Crossing the bridge

In the center of the city

While out for a bike ride us three

Early Sunday morning

Where we’re off to

We’ll have to wait and see

Decisions to make

On which road to take

Headed anywhere and everywhere

With time on our hands

And

Money in our pockets riding

Aimlessly about in this seemingly abandoned town

No matter to us

For the beauty of the day

Is a welcome companion

As

We carelessly laugh our time away

Still here on this bridge

Built as big as life

That’s home to all the roads

Leading us all anywhere and everywhere
