At this very moment

I find myself without

Feeling

Love

and

Comfort

I feel

Abandoned

Undone

and

Lonely

I long for the comfort

Of a

Long summers day

An endless night of sleep

And a

A long walk on the boulevard

I wish I talented enough for a

Ballroom dance

I wish for long flowing hair

and a clean bill of health

But I now realize

I am who I am

I have what I’m meant to have

I do what I’m meant to do

I will make do

Bite my tongue

And carry on

With a thankful while grateful

Heart
