She waited until she could wait no more

Her train was pulling into the station

She was dreaming of his kiss

Hoping that he’d make it

A kiss goodbye just can’t be missed

Who knows when they’ll be together again

They scheduled to meet here on this platform

For one last-minute kiss

Hoping it would hold them till the time they would next meet

She paced back and forth for what seemed like an eternity

The conductor called out 5 minutes til last call

\She heard his frantic footsteps stomping across the platform

But she couldn’t see his face

When suddenly behind her she felt the softness of his hands

Wrap gently around her

He slowly turns her towards her

And there it was

The softest and the sweetest last-minute kisses

It just couldn’t be missed

Then off she went until next they are to me again

Holding tightly on to their last-minute kiss
