My Time is Not for Wasting©

People close to me know who I am

They both see and know my pain

They will never hear a complaint

Because I don’t believe in complaining

I believe

If something aches, tend to it

If something is broken, fix it

If someone no longer cares about you, let them go

I focus on all those I love and all the things I love

I make time and I take time for all that matters

Leaving all else behind

So if you hope to have some time with me

Make sure you are worth it

I don’t want either of us to be disappointed

If I had a dime for each time someone

Told me “it will be worth your time”

I’m certain I would be a millionaire thrice over
