Whenever I need a shoulder

I turn and you are there

Whenever I’m about to give up

You move me forward

Whenever I leave

You bring me back

My heart is full

Full of gratitude

Just for you

Everything I ever wanted

Is tied up in you

In who you are

In who you want me to be

I’ve always wanted to be

cared for and now

I want no more

A certain kind of happiness

Has come to my door

It seems never ending

and leaves me wanting more

No wonder why you’re my hero

I don’t think you even know

I can’t bring myself to tell you

For I fear I might lose you

So I’ll leave things as they are

And go on thanking you from afar

I hope I’ll always be this happy
