When I tell a story
It’s all there in black and white
All you have to do is read between the lines
I won’t hold back
I’ll tell it like it is
So there’s no big surprises
I wear no disguises
You may bear witness to all
That has been and what is still yet to come
You may not like it but you’ll take it all in
You’ll learn what you need to and ignore what you want
Sometimes seeing is believing
However it can be hard to swallow
The words begin to blur
Then you realize you no longer
Desire to read between the lines
