When I look into those big brown eyes I feel I know all about you
I know your hopes,
i know your dreams,
I know your struggles,
I know your style,
I know what makes you tick.

When I look into those big brown eyes I see…
Your kindness,
Your strength,
Your courage,
Your pain,
Your determination.

When I look into those big brown eyes…
I feel grateful to be your mother,
I feel proud to be your friend,
I feel happy to know the person you’ve become
I feel honored to have your love.

When I look into those big brown eyes I know that you’re my daughter,

This poem is dedicated to my children, who make my world worth living with each and every smile, laugh and tear that rolls ever so quickly upon their cheeks. Love is a powerful gift that were are both lucky and fortunate to be blessed with.
