Today she saw him for the first time in weeks

It felt like forever since they last kissed

Both their eyes dancing as they try not to stare

Such passion from separation, longing each others touch

Don’t despair, for love is still finding each of them there

Time never changes the feelings from within

Their hearts still beating together again

She looks with wonder of where his mind has been

Has he thought of her often, has he wondered where she’s been?

He wonders if she still loves him

Does she truly care?

He wonders if she will forgive him for their time apart?

Or the words never said

Time tells us all where we’re going and where we’ve been

Not forgetting the past, but moving on with the future

Our hearts are forgiving let’s move ahead fast

Before time erases this memory
