Tempted by my family

Tempted by my friends

Wanting to change

Wanting to do better

Knowing I can

Knowing I have to

My heart has to be in it

I have to focus

I must control my feelings

I must choose my direction

I’m tempted to run from what’s coming

But I know I can’t

Temptation could get the best of me

But I am focused and I’m ready

Ready to face the world

Thanks temptation for reminding me

what not to do
