When I told you I loved you©

When I told you I loved you

I didn’t mean to scare you

I was just hoping that you would be mine

I’ve been waiting for such a long time

To fill my empty days

With someone who understands me

All and who that I am

Someone who doesn’t want to change me

Who accepts me as I am

Who sees me coming

And their face lights up like the night sky

And

Their heart yearns for me each moment that we’re apart

A lover

A friend

A partner

That will never leave me behind

When I told you I loved you

I was hoping you would love me too
